ODOT Projects in Meigs County Week of June 1, 2020

MARIETTA, Ohio – The following construction projects are anticipated to affect highways in Meigs County next week, or in the near future. All outlined work is weather permitting. Click on each route to see the location at OHGO.com.

US 33 bridge work – The passing lane of US 33 eastbound is closed between Peach Fork Road (County Road 19) and Long Hollow Road (Township Road 27A) for bridge railing repair. Estimated completion: December 24, 2020

SR 124 bridge work – Beginning June 1, one lane of SR 124 will be closed between Old State Route 338 (Township Road 708) and Portland Road (County Road 35) for a bridge deck overlay project on the bridge crossing over Groundhog Creek. Temporary traffic signals and a 10 foot width restriction will be in place. Estimated completion:November 20, 2020

SR 7 bridge work – Beginning June 1, one lane of SR 7 will be closed between Storys Run Road (County Road 345) and Leading Creek Road (County Road 3) for a bridge deck overlay project on the bridge crossing over Leading Creek. Temporary traffic signals and an 11 foot width restriction will be in place. Estimated completion: November 20, 2020

SR 124 culvert replacement – Beginning June 8, SR 124 will be closed between Tanners Run Road (Township Road 131) and Tornado Road (County Road 124) for a culvert replacement project. ODOT’s detour is SR 124 to US 33 to SR 833. Estimated completion: June 18, 2020
