ODOT District 10 Crews Prepared for Winter Storm

MARIETTA, Ohio – Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) crews are prepared for a winter storm that is expected to bring up to 7 inches of snow to parts of southeastern Ohio.

Crews spent time Thursday morning loading their trucks with snow and ice fighting material, and ensuring equipment is in good working order.

While pavement temperatures are currently up, temperatures are expected to drop as the day goes on. Temperatures are only expected to get into the 20s on Friday, meaning any moisture on the road has the potential to freeze.

ODOT District 10 is comprised of the following counties in southeastern Ohio: Meigs, Athens, Gallia, Hocking, Monroe, Morgan, Noble, Vinton, and Washington.
