Two More Deaths Associated with COVID-19 from Meigs County

POMEROY, Ohio – The Meigs County Health Department is reporting two additional deaths associated with COVID-19 in Meigs County. The individuals were both in the 60 to 69-year-old age range. These cases bring Meigs County to 15 deaths associated with the virus since April.  

The health department is also reporting 20 additional confirmed and three probable cases of COVID-19 in Meigs County. These cases of COVID-19 bring Meigs County to 85 active cases, and 820 total cases (768 Confirmed, 52 Probable) since April.

Additionally, three more hospitalizations of residence due to COVID-19 are being reported. These includes individuals in the 30 to 39-year-old age range, 60 to 69-year-old age range, and 70 to 79-year-old age range. The total hospitalizations of Meigs County residence since April is now at 48. 

MCHD is pleased to release another 19 individuals have recovered from COVID-19 in Meigs County. This brings the total recovered cases to 720 since April.
