Meigs County under winter weather advisory

POMEROY, Ohio – A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect from noon today, Feb. 10 until Friday, Feb. 12 at 7 a.m.

Mixed precipitation is expected with total snow accumulations of one to three inches. Ice is also expected with accumulations of a light glaze. Periods of wintry precipitation are expected over the next couple of days.

The Winter Weather Advisory is in effect for Meigs County along with Athens and Washington Counties in Ohio and in West Virginia for Wood and Pleasants Counties.

Slippery road conditions are expected. The hazardous conditions could impact the morning or evening commute. Be aware of changing road conditions.
