Rain starts the week off

RACINE, Ohio – Rain is expected to start off the week, but will give way to some sunshine later in the week.

According to the National Weather Service, a series of systems will bring rounds of rain this weekend. This will lead to strong rises of area creeks and rivers, which may result in high water issues. Poor drainage flooding and hydroplaning are also possible. This area is in a marginal risk for excessive rainfall Sunday through Sunday night.

Rain before 1 p.m., then rain and possibly a thunderstorm between 1 p.m. and 3 p.m., then a chance of rain and thunderstorms after 3 p.m. South wind 6 to 9 mph. Chance of precipiation is 100%. New rainfall amounts between three quarters and one inch possible. Overnight rain, mainly before 5 a.m.
