POMEROY, Ohio – The Meigs County Health Department has updated information on the type of COVID-19 vaccines available through the health department.

To schedule an appointment, residents need to go to the MCHD website and www.meigs-health.com:

• look at the “Meigs County Health Department First Dose COVID-19 Vaccine Schedule” in the blue box on the home page
• after seeing when the clinics are scheduled, they can click the “Vaccination Registration Click Here” link, which will take them to the https://gettheshot.coronavirus.ohio.gov/ site, so that they may schedule an appointment. 

Residents should pay special attention that they are registering for the correct type of clinic as indicated by Moderna, Pfizer or J&J. ONLY Pfizer is authorized for 12-17 year old individuals.
