Robert R. Harden, 80, of Racine

Robert R. Harden, 80, of Racine, passed away at 4:30 A.M. Monday, May 17, 2021, in the WVU Medicine-Camden Clark Medical Center in Parkersburg, West Virginia. Born November 22, 1940 in Syracuse, Ohio he was the son of the late Morris and Dorothy Neigler Harden.

Bob retired as a master welder in 2000 from the Ohio Valley Electric Corporation Kyger Creek Power plant after 33 years of service. Bob was a veteran of the U.S. Navy having served from 1958-1966. He was a member of the Morning Star United Methodist Church. He was a master mason of the Pomeroy-Racine Lodge #164 of Free & Accepted Masons of Ohio, a 32nd degree Scottish Rite mason, a member of Post #602 of the American Legion in Racine and the National Rifle Association.

Surviving is his wife, Dorothy Circle Harden, whom he married June 10, 1960 in Racine, his daughter, Pam (Jim) Foreman, of Racine, two granddaughters, Amanda (Cody) Lee, of Oberlin, Ohio and Erin (Chris) Lutz, of Dayton, Ohio and a great-grandson, Galen Lutz. Also surviving is his brother, Don (Angie) Harden, of Oak Hill, Ohio and step-grandchildren, Jenny Flanagan and Jeremy Cleek.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Sandi Elaine Harden, sons, Timothy Scott Harden and Ralph J. Harden, an infant sister, Dorothy Harden and a brother, William Harden.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, May 22, 2021 in the Cremeens-King Funeral Home, Racine. Officiating will be Rev. Jim Marshall. Interment will follow in the Carmel Cemetery. Friends may call two hours prior to the funeral service at the funeral home. Military graveside services will be conducted by the Racine Post #602 of the American Legion and Tuppers Plains Post # 9053 of Veterans of Foreign Wars.
