Ronald Allen Keyes, Jr., of Portland

Ronald Allen Keyes, Jr., of Portland, Ohio, passed away on August 4, 2021.

Ronald was born in East Liverpool, Ohio, at East Liverpool City Hospital on July 9, 1984, son of Stephanie M. Pierce (Elmo Pierce) of Racine, Ohio, and the late Ronald A. Keyes.

Ronnie had a loving heart, and he loved hard. He’d do anything for anyone. He’s a proud father to four beautiful children, and he adored his family. He was never ashamed to say “I love you”! He’d never let anyone go hungry. He’d give you the last bit of food he had. He loved his pit bull, Tyson. In his spare time, he enjoyed working on cars or anything mechanical. He had the best jokes to make people smile. His smile and laughter are contagious. His dance moves are out of this world! He was an avid outdoors man, and truly felt at home in the woods. Always there to lend a helping hand. There wasn’t a stranger he didn’t know. You always knew who “Ron Jon” was!

He will be loved and greatly missed by so many. Ronnie was a social butterfly; he always was the one to start heartfelt conversations. He had the best stories, that he always loved to tell. You will always be loved and always be missed.

Ronnie is survived by his special friend, Rebecca Dillon Smith of Ravenswood, WV; children, Cayden James Keyes, Ryder Axel Keyes, Remington Lesley Keyes, and Haylen Rose Keyes; mother, Stephanie M. Pierce (Elmo Pierce) of Racine, Ohio; also raised by Robert L. Sellers and Tris A. Sellers of Portland, Ohio; siblings, Denise M. Hilt of Ravenswood, WV; Tiffanie A.
