Alice R. Kennedy, 90

Alice R. Kennedy, 90, passed away on Friday, November 5, 2021, at her home surrounded by family. Alice was born in Huntington, WV on March 14, 1931 to June and Iva (Stewart) Cremeans.

She went on to marry her husband of 55 years, Lewis E. (Duke) Kennedy. She was a homemaker, active member of her community, and loving mother to Billy J. Kennedy, Janet S. Kennedy, and Robert K. Kennedy.

Alice is preceded in death by her husband – Lewis E. (Duke) Kennedy, son – Billy Joe Kennedy, parents – June and Iva Cremeans, brothers – JJ Cremeans, Victor Cremeans, Jim Cremeans, Roy Cremeans, Gary Cremeans, sisters – Glenna Fetty, and Phyllis Spangler.

Alice is survived by daughter – Janet (Louie) Manyak, daughter-in-law – Lily Kloes, son – Robert (Loretta) Kennedy, grandchildren – Amanda (Brian) Lane, Olivia Lane, Tyson Reitmire, Jesse Reitmire, BJ Kennedy, Amanda (Joey) Ellis, Jessica (David) Priddy, Makenzie Hayes, Jennifer Davenport, Kristen and Emily Barley, many great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews, sisters – Zelma Kaylor, Joann Smith, Leonna Woulett, and Karen Gilkey.

Funeral services will be held at Anderson McDaniel Funeral Home in Pomeroy, Ohio, on Thursday, November 11, 2021 at 12 p.m. Friends and family may visit one hour prior to the service (11 a.m.). Burial service will follow at Miles Cemetery in Rutland, Ohio. Thank you to Ohio Health Hospice.
