Jesse Davis, 79

Jesse Davis, 79, of Coolville, OH, passed away Saturday, Nov. 13, 2021, at Marietta Memorial Hospital. He was born March 18, 1942, in Parkersburg, WV, son of the late Harvey Bell and Eva Marie Barringer Davis.

Jesse was a U.S. Army Veteran and retired from DuPont. He was a member of Forked Run Gun Club, the NRA and was a former President of the Coolville Lions Club.

Jesse is survived by two grandsons, Thomas and Gena Hendrickson and Shawn and Barbie Hendrickson; a great-granddaughter, Rosalita Hendrickson; son-in-law, Larry Hendrickson; 2 sisters, Thelma Hayes and Jessie Ann Bigley; brother, Jim Davis and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Luise Davis; and a daughter, Rosemarie Hendrickson.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, Nov. 17, 2021, at White-Schwarzel Funeral Home in Coolville, OH, with Pastor Rick Bourne officiating. Burial will follow in the Stewart Cemetery in Hockingport, OH, where military graveside services will be conducted by the combined colorguard.
Visitation was held at the funeral home Tuesday, from 6-8 p.m.
