Gerald Richardson, 83

Gerald Richardson, 83, of Pomeroy, OH, passed away Wednesday, July 27, 2022, at Holzer Medical Center in Gallipolis, Ohio.

He was born Nov. 29, 1938, in Newark, OH, son of the late Harry and Helen Sebring Richardson. Gerald was an avid golfer and bowler and loved to fish in Buckeye Lake and Muskingum River. He was also an Ohio State, Cincinnati Bengals and Dale Earnhardt fan.

He is survived by special friend, Marcia Wolfe; sister-in-law, Bonnie; two nephews, Chuck Richardson and Bobby Richardson; two nieces, Barbara and Louann.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Connie; four brothers, Robert, Carl, Harold and Ronnie.

Graveside services were held at 11 a.m., Friday, Aug. 5, 2022, at the Gilmore Cemetery in Pomeroy, OH, with Pastor Rob Combs officiating. There will be no visitation. Arrangements have been entrusted to Ewing-Schwarzel Funeral Home in Pomeroy, OH.
