Groves, Miller, Reed Promoted at Farmers Bank
POMEROY, Ohio – The Board of Directors of Farmers Bank & Savings Co. is announcing the promotion of three bankers into key leadership roles for the company.

Mark Groves, Executive Vice President – Chief Lending Officer
Groves brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the position of Chief Lending Officer as well as a focused vision for future of the Bank’s Loan Division. Over his 20-year career with Farmers Bank, he has served as a Loan Officer, Chief Operations Officer and Chief Commercial Relationship Officer. Prior to Farmers Bank, he worked in retail lending, loan operations and collections. Groves is a graduate of Gallia Academy, Marshall University, the Graduate School of Banking at Colorado, Mid-South School of Banking and the West Virginia School of Banking. He resides in Point Pleasant with his wife, Lois.
Lori Miller – Senior Commercial Relationship Officer and Senior Vice President
Miller has been with Farmers Bank for over nine years and has built a successful retail and commercial lending portfolio primarily in Meigs County and surrounding areas. With this promotion, she will expand her responsibilities to lead the commercial banking team across all of the Bank’s markets and to reinforce the Bank’s commitment to our business customers and our communities. Miller is a graduate of Warren High School and Washington State Community College. She resides in Tuppers Plains with her husband, Shannon.
Ben Reed – Retail Operations Manager
As the Retail Operations Manager, Reed will work closely with the Bank’s retail offices to ensure consistent and exceptional service while also identifying opportunities and encouraging development within the branch network. Reed is in his sixth year of employment with the Bank having worked as an Intern for an additional four years. He has a wide range of experience most recently working as the Bank’s Credit Analyst. He is a graduate of Meigs High School, Ohio University and is currently attending the Graduate School of Banking at the University of Wisconsin – Madison. He resides in Middleport with his wife, Hayley.
