Cody Edward Taylor, 28, of Racine, Ohio, passed away on December 19, 2022.
He was born on September 12, 1994, in Jacksonville, NC, a son of Mark Edward Taylor and Dawn Marie Shuler Roush.
He loved spending time and playing games with his family and shooting guns/target practice with his best friend, Mike Meldau. Cody was also a 2013 graduate of Racine Southern High School, in Racine, Ohio.
Cody is survived by his mother, Dawn (Michael) Roush; his father, Mark (Victoria) Taylor; his brothers, Ryan (Addie) Taylor, Owen Jones, Christopher (Deana) Roush and Tyler Blevins; his sisters, Kinsey Taylor and A’aliyah Brown; his grandparents, Larry and Joyce Taylor and Lynn and Karen Shuler; his uncle, Chad (Angie) Taylor and his aunt Dina Weiss. Cody also has several extended uncles, aunts, nieces and nephews that survive.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Johnanna Shuler.
Reverend Vickie Cundiff will officiate the celebration of life memorial service, Wednesday, December 28, 2022 at 5:00 pm at Roush Funeral Home in Ravenswood, WV. Friends may visit with the family from 4:00 to 5:00 pm.
