Pamela Clendenin (Harris) Caldwell, 66, of Gallipolis, passed away on Wednesday, January 15, 2014 at OSU Wexner Medical Center, Columbus, Ohio.
She was born January 25, 1947 in Charleston, West Virginia, daughter of James Clendenin, who survives her and the late Lorena Rucker Clendenin. She graduated from Herbert Hoover High School and attended West Virginia University Tech. Pam retired from Ohio Valley Publishing, where she worked at the Gallipolis Daily Tribune and Point Pleasant Register in advertising sales and as an advertising sales manager.
Pam was a past charter president of Gallipolis City Schools Academic Boosters, Ladies Jaycees Past Charter President, a member of Ye Olde Village Garden Club, a Pack Master for Cub Scout Pack 204 and a two term president of Washington Elementary PTA.
Surviving are her son and daughter-in-law, Bradley S. and Bridgit Harris of Gallipolis; grandchildren, Carter and Addison Harris; her father, James Clendenin of Clendenin, West Virginia; her siblings, Rick (Debbie) Clendenin, Anita (Clif) Burdette, Kevin (Tabitha) Clendenin; nieces and nephews, Cayla (Joey) Revels, Casey (Cathy) Clendenin, Corey Clendenin, Kyle Burdette, Jacob, Katie and James Clendenin; several great nieces and nephews; and former husband Albert Harris.
Preceding her in death is her mother, Lorena Clendenin and a son, Sean C. Harris on January 7, 1989.
Services will be 8:00 p.m., Saturday, January 18, 2014 at the Willis Funeral Home with Pastor Larry Fisher officiating. Burial will be in Ohio Valley Memory Gardens. Friends may call at the funeral home from 6-8 p.m. on Saturday, prior to the funeral.
