Meigs County Under Level 2 Snow Emergency
MEIGS COUNTY – Meigs County Sheriff, Keith Wood, has issued a Level 2 Snow Emergency for the county.
A Level 2 means “The road conditions are hazardous and continue to become ice and snow covered. Only those that feel it necessary to be on roads should be. Contact your employer to see if you should report to work. Highway crews are attempting to keep the roads safe.”
Anyone driving should use extreme caution. Also remember to allow Ohio Department of Transportation and local road crews safe distance while they are working.
Meigs County has had a heavy, wet snow fall of at least six inches. Roads will continue to be slick.
