Holzer Holds Heart Wreath Lighting

Holzer – Gallipolis held the Annual Heart Wreath Lighting on Friday, February 7, which was National Wear Red Day. Holzer had representatives from Gallia County Commissioners and Gallipolis City Commission on hand to proclaim the day, as well as the month of February as American Heart Month. In addition, Brent Saunders, Chairman of the Board, Holzer Health System, and T. Wayne Munro, MD, CEO, Holzer Health System, were available with a proclamation representing Holzer.

This year’s special guest to light the wreath was Karen Edgar, who recently experienced a cardiovascular episode. She is also a cardiovascular nurse with Holzer Cardiovascular Institute.
