Maria Regina Niemeyer, 65

Maria Regina Niemeyer, 65, Vinton, Ohio passed away Tuesday, February 18, 2014 at her residence. Born October 7, 1948 in Gallia County, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Andrew and Emma (Wheeler) Thompson. She was an employee at Walmart for five years, and was preceded in death by her husband, Lowell Leslie Niemeyer in 2007.

Maria is survived by two daughters, Angela (David) Wellman, Gallipolis, Ohio and Margaret Watkins, Kapolie, Hawaii; granddaughter, Miela Wellman, Gallipolis and grandson, Kaleb Hattel, Kapolie, Hawaii as well as one brother, Glen White, Gibsonton, Florida.

A Gathering of Friends will be conducted 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM Friday, February 21, 2014 in the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Vinton Chapel. Cremation services are being provided at the Niemeyer Family’s request.
