Ohio Secretary of State Jon Husted Reminds Ohioans to Update Voter Registration
As we all prepare to “spring forward” this weekend, Ohio Secretary of State
Jon Husted encourages all voters to plan ahead and include updating your voter registration information as part of your Daylight Saving Time to-do list.
In addition to setting clocks ahead an hour and replacing smoke detector batteries, be sure to check your voter registration and change your address
(if necessary). All of this can be done via the Secretary of State’s one-stop voter information website at www.MyOhioVote.com.
This five-minute task will ensure you are able to participate in this year’s elections with ease.
By ensuring your information at the board of elections is up to date now, you can request an absentee ballot to vote by mail or go to the polls on Election Day or during the hours for early in-person voting (here) without any hassle.
