Sweep Brings 26 Arrests, Various Drug Charges

GALLIA AND MEIGS COUNTIES – Numerous individuals will be processed through court system following the sweep by the Major Crimes Task Force of Gallia and Meigs Counties last week.

A total of 43 individuals are facing charges as a result of the multi-agency round up between the two counties. Twenty-six of them have already been arrested. Seventeen have warrants and the task force is looking for them. The members of the task force want to send a clear message that drugs will not be tolerated in the area. Law enforcement agencies involved with the Major Crimes Task Force in addition to the Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine are the Meigs County Sheriff Keith Wood, Gallia County Sheriff Joseph Browning, Gallipolis Police Chief Clinton Patterson, Middleport Police Chief Bruce Swift, Prosecutor Colleen Williams, and Gallia County Prosecutor Jeff Adkins.

The charges range from various types of drugs and the sweep encompassed both counties.

Charged are the following individuals in allegedly participating in various levels of the drug trade so far.

Leslie Storms, 42, of Pomeroy is charged with illegal manufacture of methamphetamine and the illegal assembly or possession of chemicals for the manufacture of methamphetamine.

Tina Storms, 40, of Pomeroy is charged with the illegal manufacture of methamphetamine and the illegal assembly or possession of chemicals for the manufacture of methamphetamine.

Sarah Wood, 22, of Pomeroy is charged with the illegal manufacture of methamphetamine, the illegal assembly or possession of chemicals for the manufacture of methamphetamine, and aggravated possession of drugs (methamphetamine).

Ashley Smith, 24, of Pomeroy, is charged with aggravated trafficking in drugs (oxycodone).

Tonya Aeiker, 33, of Rutland, is charged with trafficking in drugs (hydrocodone).

David Milliron, 34, of Racine, is charged with trafficking in drugs (hydrocodone). This charge is additionally listed as having allegedly been done in the vicinity of a school or juvenile.

Felisha Stumbo, 27, of Middleport, is charged with trafficking in drugs (hydrocodone).

Paula Gaster, 56, of Middleport, is charged with aggravated trafficking in drugs (oxydocdone).

Willard Laudermilt III, 29, of Middleport, is charged with aggravated trafficking in drugs (LSD).

Amber Spradling, 29, of Pomeroy, is charged with aggravated trafficking in drugs (hydrocodone).

Gary Kauff, 27, of Middleport, is charged with aggravated trafficking in drugs (oxydocdone).

Heather Roush, 39, of Middleport, is charged with aggravated trafficking in drugs (oxydocdone).

Daniel Jenkins, 20, of Racine, is charged with trafficking in drugs (loritab).

Tammy Thomas, 46, of Middleport, is charged with trafficking in drugs (hydrocodone).

Amanda Holmes, 28, of Gallipolis, is charged with trafficking in drugs (heroin) and possession of drugs (heroin).

Tyrone Powell Jr., 28, of Dayton, is charged with trafficking in drugs (heroin) and possesion of drugs (heroin).

Cole Simpson, 23, of Gallipolis, is charged with trafficking in drugs (adderall) and possession of drugs (adderall). The trafficking in drugs charge is additionally listed as having allegedly been done in the vicinity of a school.

Taurean Ramsey, 35, of Columbus, is charged with trafficking in drugs (heroin) and possesion of drugs (heroin).

Kelcie Baird, 20, of Thurman, is charged with trafficking in drugs (vvyanse) and possesion of drugs (vvyanse).

Joseph Peck, 28, of Thurman, is charged with trafficking in drugs (heroin), trafficking in drugs (marijuana), and possession of drugs (heroin). The trafficking in drugs of heroin is additionally listed as having allegedly been committed in the vicinity of a juvenile.

Raymone Jackson, 31, of Galena, is charged with trafficking in drugs (cocaine) and possession of drugs (cocaine). Additionally, the charge of trafficking in drugs of cocaine is listed as having allegedly been committed in the vicinity of a juvenile.

Joseph Sexton, 20, of Gallipolis, is charged with trafficking in drugs (vvyanse) and possession of drugs (vvyanse).

Earl Hager, 55, of Gallipolis, is charged with possession of drugs (heroin).

Nancy (Kirk) Blackburn, 28, of Gallipolis, is charged with possession of drugs (heroin).

Porter Mitchells, 38, of Gallipolis, is charged with trafficking in drugs (heroin), trafficking in drugs (cocaine), trafficking in drugs (marijuana), possession of drugs (heroin), possession of drugs (cocaine), possession of drugs (BZP), and having a weapon under disability.

Michelle Walker, 36, of Thurman, is charged with trafficking in drugs (heroin), trafficking in drugs (cocaine), trafficking in drugs (marijuana), possession of drugs (heroin), possession of drugs (cocaine), possession of drugs (BZP), and tampering with evidence.
