Raymond Lloyd Rupe, 54

Raymond Lloyd Rupe, age 54, of Gallipolis, died Tuesday morning May 20, 2014 at Holzer Medical Center. Born April 23, 1960 in Columbus. He was the son of the late Ora and Sharon Thompson Rupe. In addition to his parents, he was preceded by a grandson, Cameron Rupe.

Raymond was a United States Army Veteran and also served in the Army National Guard.

Raymond is survived by, his wife, Pamela Sue Carter Rupe of Gallipolis, 4 children, Johnathon (Mary) Rupe of Gallipolis, Brandy Rupe of Gallipolis, Philicia Thomas of Huntington, and Matthew Carter of Gallipolis. 6 grandchildren, Aiden Rupe, Ava Rupe, Johnathon Rupe Jr., Elizabeth Rupe, Joseph Rupe and Kathleen Yost. 6 brothers and sisters, Nancy Snyder of Meigs Co., Diane (Allen) Davison of Meigs Co., Beverly (Joseph) Burden of Virginia,

Rhonda Rupe of Gallipolis, Peggy Baird of Gallipolis, and Matthew Rupe of Gallipolis.

Funeral services will be at Noon on Saturday May 24, 2014 at the Waugh-Halley-Wood Funeral Home with Pastor Alvis Pollard officiating. Burial will follow in Centenary Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 6-9 PM. Military Funeral Honors will be presented at the graveside by the Gallia County Veterans Funeral Detail.
Pallbearers will be: James Williams, Aaron Rupe, Quintin Rupe, Matt Baird, Matthew Rupe, Chris Lucas, and Jason Lucy.
