Chad Aaron Vanco, 41

Chad Aaron Vanco, age 41, of Jackson, died Sunday June 29, 2014 at the Ohio State University Medical Center in Columbus. Born June 30, 1972 in Gallipolis. He was a Quality Control Technician for Sunpower Inc.

Chad is survived by, his parents, Chuck and Cheryl Taylor Vanco of Gallipolis, his wife, Christy Short Vanco of Jackson who he married on Feb.4,1995, 2 sons, Zachary and Dalton Vanco both at home,1 brother, Marc (Karen) Vanco of Dayton, brother in law and sister in law, Brad (Tonya) Cremeens of Gallipolis, Father in law and mother in law, Troy (M.J.) Short of Crown City, maternal grandparents, Clinton and Virginia Taylor of Rodney, nieces and nephews, Josie and Ethan Vanco, and Alyssa and Noah Cremeens. Also surviving is his wife’s grandparents, Ervin and Agnes Short of Crown City, his beloved dog Mattie, and a multitude of family and friends who loved him dearly.

Chad was preceded by his paternal grandparents, Joe and Ruth Vanco.

Funeral services will be 11:00 AM. Thursday July 3, 2014 at the Waugh-Halley-Wood Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Ohio Valley Memory Gardens. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 5-9 PM.
