John Carol Thompson, 83
John Carol Thompson, 83, Blazer Road, Gallipolis (Bulaville Community) passed away at 8:55 P.M. Wednesday, July 2, 2014 in the Holzer Senior Care Center. Born Faebruary 3, 1931 in Perry Township of Gallia County he was the son of the late Lawson and Ruby O. Prose Thompson. He was a retired fire truck painter from the Stuphen Fire Equipment Company in Columbus, Ohio.He and his wife, Shirley, had resided in the Columbus area for over thirty years.
Surviving is his wife of over 50 years, Shirley Gillenwater Thompson.
In keeping with John’s wishes, there are no calling hours or funeral service. He wished to be cremated.
Cremation services are by the Cremeens Funeral Chapel.
