Relay For Life Event Invites Survivors to Celebration

American Cancer Society Gallia County Relay For Life would like to invite all Cancer Survivors to a Celebration in Honor of You, a Survivor Celebration during the Relay For Life event on Saturday, August 23 in the Gallipolis City Park. The reception will be held in the Survivor Tent, located behind the Holzer Wellness Wagon. Registration is from 12noon to 2pm, with Opening Ceremonies at 2pm. The Survivor Lap will follow the Opening Ceremonies, shown pictured is the 2013 Survivor Lap during the Relay For Life event. Survivor shirts can be picked up at the American Cancer Society Cancer Resource Center, located inside the Holzer Center for Cancer Care, until Monday, August 18. Luminaries are also available for purchase at the Cancer Resource Center. The Luminary Ceremony will begin at dark on Saturday, August 23. For more information, please call (740) 446-5679.
