“Heroes Unmasked” Fall Harvest Fest at Bethel Worship Center

TUPPERS PLAINS, OH – Bethel Worship Center will host a special free fall harvest celebration for families, “Heroes Unmasked,” this Saturday, October 25th, at the church from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. Bethel Pastor Rob Barber welcomes the public to join the festivities at Bethel for a weekend afternoon of games, drama and fun activities, free food and fellowship. Area families with children are especially encouraged to attend the event, which is a Halloween alternative where the kids will meet several Bible hero characters in costume sharing the love of Christ with them. Dot Norman, Bethel’s director of children’s ministries, noted that in addition to the festivities, a $50 cash prize will be awarded to the person with the “most unique” costume portraying a Biblical character. Church organizers added that there will be lots of candy for the kids, that the wearing of non-dark costumes is appreciated, and emphasized that the event is free and open to all ages.
