Upward Sports Evaluations in Chester NOV. 1 & 8
Tuppers Plains, OH, October 29, 2014 – Bethel Worship Center announced that late registration will continue and evaluations will be held from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. at Chester Community Center the next two Saturdays, November 1st and 8th, for the upcoming fifth season of its Upward Sports basketball and cheerleading program. The local Bethel affiliate of the national sports program will hold games commencing January 2015 at the Chester Community Center, and is open to all area boys and girls in K5-6th grade. The program is sponsored by Bethel primarily as a convenient local sports team option for children residing in the eastern part of Meigs County. Church officials noted that registration forms should be completed and brought to the Saturday evaluation session, along with a fee of $70 for players and cheerleaders. Registrations will also be accepted at the Bethel church office between 10:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. generally, Monday through Friday through November 7th, or at the Chester Community Center on November 1st or 8th. Once registered, participants will need to attend the required brief evaluation and orientation session at the Chester Community Center on either of the two Saturday mornings.
