Carol “Kay” Hall, 79

Carol “Kay” Hall, 79, formerly of Vinton, Ohio, passed away at the home of her daughter Barbara Moore of Powell, Ohio on Tuesday, December 23, 2014. Kay, as she was known, was an avid flower gardener who loved to travel and who enjoyed her family and friends where she was always the “life of the Party”.

She was born on September 5, 1935 in Amherst, Ohio, daughter of the late Elmer Bischoff and Martha Coverdale Bischoff. She was preceded in death by her husband, James E. Hall in June 29, 2004. and by a grandson and three sisters.

Surviving are two sons and six daughters: Kathrine Hall, Grafton, Ohio, Della (Tom) Starcher, Vermillion, OH, Gail (Sam) Meade, Bidwell, Oh, Barbara Moore, Powell, OH, Ruth Darst, Gallipolis, OH, James Hall Jr. Vinton, OH, Ray (Pam) Hall, Wellston, OH, Debra (Gary) Jones, Addison, OH.

Also surviving are twenty grandchildren, thirty-five great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren and two special caretakers: Janet Irish and Jo Schriveman, Columbus, OH.

Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM. Sunday, December 27, 2014. at the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Vinton, Ohio. Burial will follow in the Pine Grove Cemetery near Vinton.

Friends may call on at the Funeral Home on Saturday, 4:00 – 7:00 PM.
