Charles Richard ‘Chuck’ Wright, age 59

Charles Richard ‘Chuck’ Wright, age 59 of Gallipolis died Monday December 29, 2014 at his residence. Born June 4, 1955 in Meigs County, he was the son of George L. and Nelle L. Rottgen Wright of Pomeroy.

Chuck was a United States Air Force Veteran. He was a machinist for GKN and retired with over 35 years of service.

He is survived by, his parents, George and Nelle Wright of Pomeroy, 2 daughters, Amy Dawn Wright of Pomeroy, and Brenda Lee (Randy) Phillips of Gallipolis. 8 grandchildren, Colton Wright, Emma-Lee Wright, Eric Chapman, Faithy Wright, Alexis Chapman, Kathleen Wright, Bethany Corbin, and Christian Spaun. 3 great grandchildren, Macaira Wright, Aaron Wright, and Malayna Chapman and was awaiting the arrival of a 4th great grandchild. 2 sisters, Susan Dingess of Pomeroy and Sherri Hicks of Amanda, OH. Also surviving is 1 nephew, Josh Hicks of Amanda, OH.

Memorial services will be 11:00 AM. Saturday January 3, 2015 at the Waugh-Halley-Wood Funeral Home with Dr. Wesley S. Thoene officiating. Military Funeral Honors will be conducted at the funeral home by the Gallia County Veterans Funeral Detail. Burial will be at a later date in Beech Grove Cemetery in Meigs County.
