Ohio’s Fishing and Hunting Licenses Available Now

COLUMBUS, OH – Ohio’s hunting and fishing license year kicked off March 1 allowing hunters and anglers to purchase their 2015-2016 licenses and many permits, according to the Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR).

The prices for Ohio’s 2015-2016 hunting, fishing and trapping licenses and permits are unchanged from last year. Resident license and permit prices have remained unchanged for 12 years.

Ohio’s 2015-2016 licenses will be valid immediately upon purchase through Feb. 29, 2016. White-tailed deer and fall wild turkey hunting permits will go on sale later in 2015.

Licenses and permits can be purchased online at wildohio.gov and at hundreds of participating agents throughout the state. A complete list of participating license sales agents can be found at wildohio.gov.

Licenses are also available for purchase on a mobile device, such as a smartphone. For licenses purchased on a mobile device, the customer must be able to display the emailed license on the mobile device or present a printed copy of the license upon request.
