Phyllis Stidham
Phyllis Stidham of Gallipolis went home to be with the Lord on Monday, March 16, 2015. Born July 3, 1935, in Gallipolis, Phyllis was the oldest daughter of the late Morton and Elma Caldwell. Phyllis was a devoted wife to her husband Dan Stidham for 63 ½ years. She was a loving and hard-working homemaker that raised 5 children. She especially valued her earthly time with her husband, children, grandchildren and her great-grandchildren who will greatly miss her. Now she will joyously spend eternity with our Lord. She was a member of the Cheshire Baptist Church.
Despite declining health in recent years, she always maintained her great sense of humor. Since her husband Dan was an avid knife-maker and dealer, she quickly learned the knife trade in her golden years and accompanied Dan to numerous knife shows and flea markets. She also enjoyed watching sports, especially Kentucky basketball.
