Linda Richards Skidmore, 68

Linda Richards Skidmore, 68, Patriot, Ohio passed away Saturday, June 13, 2015 at Jackson, Ohio. Born March 28, 1947 at Salem, Ohio, she was the daughter of Emma Elizabeth (Carter) Richards, Bidwell, Ohio and the late Charles Wayne Richards. Linda was a member of the Gallipolis Harley Owners Group.

She is survived by her children: Sherry (Joe) Russell, Patriot and Ron W. Skidmore, Dallas, Texas; grandchildren: Andrew Gibson, Gallipolis Ohio and Thomas Gibson, Patriot; step-grandsons: Quentin Russell, Gallipolis and Zachary Russell, Oak Hill, Ohio; great-granddaughters: Brooklyn Gibson and Kynslee Russell; brother, Cap (Joyce) Richards, Kissimmee, Florida; sister, Ruthie (John) Davis, Patriot and special niece, Hollie Haner, Patriot. Also left to cherish her memory are a host of extended family members and friends.

In addition to her father, Linda was preceded in death by her husband, Ronnie Skidmore and sister, Annie Smith.

Linda’s Family will receive friends 4:00-8:00 PM Wednesday, June 17, 2015 in the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Wetherholt Chapel, Gallipolis after which time cremation will follow in accordance with her wishes. A Memorial Service will be held 1:00 PM Saturday, June 20, 2015 at Baxter’s Harley Davidson, 1699 Kerr Road, Bidwell, Ohio 45614.
