OVB’s Post-Christmas Super Savings Program Rewards Little Ones Who Save
GALLIPOLIS, Ohio—Ohio Valley Bank has announced a Super Savings, a program where children who make a deposit of ten dollars or more to their OVB savings account between Christmas Day and New Year’s Eve will receive a free Centsables super hero action figure.
The Super Savings event is the first of its kind, developed to encourage kids to save monetary gifts received during the holidays and is part of the bank’s larger financial literacy initiative focused on teaching children to save before they learn to spend.
Ohio Valley Bank currently hosts four youth financial literacy programs on an ongoing basis: OVB Classroom Adventures featuring the Centsables for elementary classes, OVB MoneyIsland for middle school, OVB BANKit! for high school, and OVB Boot Camp for 4-H groups.
Complete details on the Super Savings program are available at any branch. Action figures available vary by office and are limited to one per child per day. The toys are based on characters from The Centsables, an educational cartoon series which airs on Saturdays at 11 a.m. on Fox Business.
