Manning Kloes, 84

Manning Kloes, 84, of Lancaster, Ohio went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, April 12, 2016. Manning was born December 17, 1931 in Pomeroy, Ohio to Herman and Helen Pooler Kloes. He graduated from Pomeroy High School in 1949. He met the love of his life, June Smart, and they were married for 63 wonderful years. He was a loving father and grandfather who enjoyed the outdoors and would often take his children and grandchildren camping and hiking. Manning was always an active participant in any church he attended and has been known to give back to the community.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his Father-in-Law and Mother-in-Law, Paul & Frances Smart; brother and sister-in-law, Robert & May Kloes.
He is survived by wife, June; children, Kent (Beth) Kloes, Lori Herron, and Lynn (Duane) Andrews; 7 grandchildren, and 1 great grandchild.
Calling hours will be Saturday, April 16 from 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. at Anderson McDaniel Funeral Home in Middleport, Ohio. Funeral service will be immediately following at 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow in the Riverview Cemetery.
