Clara Sayre, 95

Clara Sayre, 95 of Merritt Island, FL passed away on Sunday, May 29, 2016. She was born on May 6, 1921 in Pomeroy, Ohio to the late William and Clara Eichinger. She was a member of the Pomeroy United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her Sons; Donald and Sandra Sayre, William “Bill” Sayre; Grandchildren; Traci Sayre, Terry Sayre, Tammi Stover, Jeff Sayre,Jessica Sayre, and Jaclyn Ricci; 9 Great-Grandchildren and Two Great Great Grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Charles E. “Chock” Sayre; a son Charles “Fritz” Sayre and 9 brothers and sisters.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, June 5, 2016 at 2:00pm at the Anderson McDaniel Funeral Home in Pomeroy with Pastor Jim Corbitt officiating. Burial will follow in the Rock Springs Cemetery. Visitation for friends and family will be held on Saturday, June 4, 2016 from 6-8:00pm at the funeral home.
