One person dead following four wheeler crash

POMEROY – One adult male is dead following an accident with a four-wheeler.

The fatality is being investigated and was confirmed by the Meigs County Sheriff’s Office. The fatality occurred on private property located along Union Avenue near Ohio Valley Animal Clinic. That end of Union Avenue is not under Pomeroy Police Department jurisdiction, but the Meigs County Sheriff’s Office.

The accident happened around 4 p.m. The victim’s name is not being released at this time. Further details are not being released by the Meigs County Sheriff’s Office at this time.
