Eastern at River Valley

Eastern faced a tough opener at River Valley. While they managed to improve from last year, it wasn’t enough. River Valley got the home win with a score of 51 – 27. Eastern will have their first home game next week against Miller. River Valley will have some momentum going on the road against Gallia Academy.

Meigs at Gallia Academy

The “Battle of the Boarder” was a tough loss for Gallia Academy Blue Devils. The Meigs Marauders took a 28 – 0 lead at half time and won with a final score of 42 – 7. The Blue Devils will face the River Valley Raiders at home next week. The Marauders will look to continue their winning as they will host Amanda.

Notre Dame at Southern

Jallen Blanks returned the opening kick to put Southern up early. However, despite going down 13 – 0 at the end of the first half, the Titans would come back and take a lead of 14 – 13 over the hustling Tornadoes. Ultimately, the Tornadoes found the end zone and succeeded on a two-point conversion to win 21 – 14. Southern will face a tough game on the road next week as they go up against Frontier.
