Dale Richard Sheets, 79

Dale Richard Sheets, 79, of Gallipolis, died Monday morning October 17, 2016 at the Southern Ohio Medical Center Hospice in Portsmouth. Born February 19, 1937 in Gallia County, son of the late Clyde and Geneva Waugh Sheets. In addition to his parents, he was preceded by a brother, Gary Sheets, and a sister, Mary Lou Sheets.

Dale was a United States Army Veteran and worked as a foreman doing road construction.

He is survived by his wife, Doris Phillips Sheets of Gallipolis, two sons, Mark (Vicky) sheets of Bidwell, and Dale (Pam) Sheets Jr. of Wellston, a sister, Doris Ann Eggleton of Gallipolis, and by three grandchildren, Nicholas Sheets, Dylan sheets, and Abigail Sheets.

Burial will be 4 p.m. Friday October 21, 2016 at Ridgelawn Cemetery.

There will be no visitation or service.
