Christian candle cross obitSelma Call, 85, of Long Bottom, Ohio passed away on Saturday, December 10, 2016 at the Holzer Hospital in Gallipolis. She was born on Sunday, August 2, 1931 in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Siad and Darra (Slyman) Yahya. Selma was a graduate of Charleston High School, a member of the Forrest Run United Methodist Church and she retired from the Veterans Memorial Hospital in Pomeroy.

She is survived by: her step-son, John (Candace) Call; step-daughter, Linda (Dale) Rollins; special niece, Cindi Rice; sister-in-laws, Millie Yahya and Nancy Yahya and several grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by: her parents; husband, John William Call; son, Bill Call; sister, Haseeba Collins; brothers, Moe, Fuad, and Joe Yahya.

Funeral services will he held on Tuesday, December 13, 2016 at 11 a.m. at the Anderson McDaniel Funeral Home in Pomeroy with Pastor Wes Thoene officiating. Burial will follow at the Riverview Cemetery in Middleport. Visitation for family and friends will be held on Monday, December 12, 2016 from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
