Minnie Lois Rizer, 86, went to be with her Lord and savior on December 21, 2016 at the home of her daughter and son-in-law Lois (Terry ) Deem of Zanesville,Ohio with her loving family by her side.

Minnie was born on August 27, 1930 in Racine, Ohio to the late Eber and Pearl Dudding Roush. They moved to Mason, West Virginia and she attended Wahama High School. On June 27, 1945 she was married 67 years to the late Marion Rizer. They lived in Mason and later Syracuse, Ohio. Minnie work at Stifflers Department Store for many years and Veterans Memorial Hospital Extended Care until it’s closing. Minnie was a member of the New Hope Nazarene Church in Middleport, Ohio.

Minnie is survived by: daughters Lois (Terry) Deem of Zanesville, Ohio, Kathy (Larry) Lehew of Pomeroy, Ohio; grandchildren, Richard ( Lilly) Deem Johnstown,Ohio, Jennifer (Jamey) Baker of Zanesville, Ohio and Missy (Matt) DeCrans of Charlotte, North Carolina; great grandchildren, Kelsi and Shellby Baker of Zanesville, and Simon, Helen and Siena DeCrans of Charlotte; sister in laws Margaret Rizer of Hartford West Virginia, and Esther DeMoss of Pomeroy, Ohio; along with several nieces and nephews.

Minnie was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Marion Rizer and two infant sons Marion Lee and Richard Earl. She was also preceded in death by her infant sister Angus Roush as well as sisters and brother in laws Ruth (Eddie) Ryan and Jean (Jack) Grueser all of Mason, West Virginia and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 26,2016 at noon at the Anderson McDaniel Funeral Home in Pomeroy, Ohio. Visitation for family and friends will be held one hour prior to the service. Pastors William Justis and Jan Lavender will be officiating. Burial will be at the Kirkland Memorial Park at Point Pleasant, West Virginia.
