Terry Lee Morrison, 59, of Moorefield, West Virginia and formerly from Chester, Ohio passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 2, 2017 at Winchester Medical Center, Winchester, Virginia with family by his side.

Born October 1, 1957 in Warren, Ohio, he was the son of George Morrison, Sr. and the late Lois Root Morrison. For many years, Terry was a truck driver working for Trout Concrete Products in Marietta, Ohio and Belpre Brick in Belpre, Ohio. Known to old friends by the nickname “Speedy”, he enjoyed fishing, snow tubing, sports and loved live music. Although he was a kidney dialysis patient for nearly a decade, he never let that slow him down. Terry’s passing was unexpected and he will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

Terry is survived by his daughter, Megan Morrison of Belpre, Ohio; father, George Morrison, Sr. of Chester, Ohio; brothers, George Morrison, Jr. of Chester, Ohio and Brian (Paula) Morrison of Racine, Ohio; sister, Rita Morrison of Chester, Ohio; niece, Britney (Sam Rucker) Morrison; nephew, Paul Morrison and great-niece Makenna Rucker. He is also survived by a special friend, Birdy Donahue of Moorefield, West Virginia and his “fur babies”, Cooper and Sassy, his dogs and his cats, Kisses, Booger, Woodpile and special neighbor pet, Bella.

He is preceded in death by his son, Jonathan Foster Morrison and his mother, Lois Margaret Root Morrison.

Terry has passed from this life but will live on through the lives of others as his eyes and tissues were donated for medical research and others in need. There will be no visitation hours or funeral service. Cremation services are under the direction of Anderson McDaniel Funeral Home, Pomeroy, Ohio.
