Law enforcement looking for 17-year old runaway

POMEROY – Law enforcement is looking for a 17-year old runaway.

Christopher and Sarah Cooper, Racine, reported their son, Xavier Scott Cooper, 17, missing on Feb. 15, 2017.

According to the Meigs County Sheriff’s Office, Christopher Cooper reported that Xavier Cooper left the residence between 3 a.m. to 6 a.m. with his girlfriend, Jadyn R. Watkins, 18, from Logan, Ohio. They are believed to be travelling in a White Honda Civic bearing Ohio registration CTQ7361. They may be heading towards Kentucky or Missouri where Xavier Cooper has family.

The Meigs County Sheriff’s Office has been in contact with authorities in Logan, Ohio, who handled the case where Watkins was reported missing, and have also contacted authorities in Kentucky and Missouri.

Both Xavier Cooper and Watkins have been entered into the National Crime Information Center (NCIC) database as missing persons, and a case has been filed with the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children for Xavier Cooper.
