Janine Annette Wilson, 62, of Mason

Janine Annette Wilson, 62, of Mason, West Virginia, passed away at 7:45 a.m. on Saturday, February 18, 2017, at her residence.

Born January 7, 1955 in Mason, Wv., she was the daughter of the late John and Ella Norma Mae Swartz Wilson, Jr. She was a correctional officer at the Lakin Correctional Center.

She is survived by her son, David Martin, Jr., of Mason, a daughter, Heather Martin, of Point Pleasant, Wv., grandchildren, D.J. Davis, Shelby Curtis, Matthew Head, C.J. Head, and Brittany Head. Her sisters, Christian Wilson, of Pomeroy, Rita McFarland, of Mason, Arlene (Ron) Connett, of Goshen, Indiana, Jennifer Burton, of Racine, Marla (Lee) Trammell, of Goshen, In., and Kimberly Smith, of Rutland and numerous nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 21, 2017 in the Cremeens-King Funeral Home, Pomeroy. Rev. Paul Voss will officiate and interment will follow in the Gravel Hill Cemetery. Friends may call two hours prior to the funeral on Tuesday at the funeral home.
