David Monroe Brickles, 69

David Monroe Brickles, 69, of Pomeroy, Ohio passed away on February 26, 2017 at Grant Medical Center. He was born on April 22, 1947 at Pratts Fork, Ohio son of the late Floyd Lamont Brickles and Naomi Doan Brickles.

He is survived by his wife, Edith Brickles; children, April Icenhower, John (Stacey) Brickles, Missy Leach (Jim Hysell) and Josh (Tara) Leach; grandchildren, Andrew, Jessi, Danielle, Nicole, Hailey, Hannah, Jacob and Madeline; great grandchildren, Trenton and Taylor; brothers and sister, Danny (Peggy) Brickles, Duane (Laura) Brickles, Mary (Tony) Pallone and Dale (Angie) Brickles; several nieces and nephews; and his special companion, Shadow.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Jacqueline Brickles and a special friend, Paul Sinclair.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 1, 2017 at 1 p.m. with Pastor Randy Smith officiating at Anderson McDaniel Funeral Home in Pomeroy. Burial will follow at Burlingham Cemetery. Visiting hours will be on Wednesday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of David may be made to the American Heart Association or to the American Diabetes Association.
