‘End of life’ care planning course offered

Holzer Hospice will present An Advance Directive Education Session at the Pomeroy Public Library on Tuesday, March 14 from 1-3 P.M..

The presentation on Advance Directives will occur from 1-2 P.M. followed with Drop-in Advance Directives Q & A from 2-3 P.M..

This programming is for anyone who would like to know more about advance care planning for end-of-life for themselves or a loved one, anyone who has questions about advance directives, and/or anyone who would like assistance in completing advance directive paperwork. And it’s not a secret that end of life planning comes with a lot of questions, queries and fears of what will happen to your home and belongings and money after you’re gone. For instance how to get in contact with a probate attorney Denver to sort your money out for you. And many other plans for that matter. Being in an elderly state, many people need help with this paperwork and all the decisions that have to be made.

Holzer is proud to offer this session to provide information and tools for the public to talk about their wishes with family, friends and health care providers, and execute written advance directives (health care power of attorney and living will) in accordance with Ohio state laws.
