Pomeroy Merchants holding Solar Eclipse Sale Aug. 21

POMEROY, Ohio – On August 21, there will be a sight many haven’t seen—a total solar eclipse.

To mark this occasion, many merchants in Pomeroy are participating in a Solar Eclipse Sale. They plan to have deals so good you will be over the moon.

“The Chamber thought it would be something fun to base a sale around. We love working with our local stores to organize and promote events,” state Whitney Thoene, Chamber of Commerce Director.

“Its terrific opportunity to shop local,” said Paige Cleek, owner of Front Paige Outfitters and Chamber Board member. “It will be a great day—it’s a fun concept combined with good deals.”

Some of the deals include:
Front Paige Outfitters will have 30% off on denim and 70% off on clearance all day.

The Fabric Shop will have 25% off storewide all day.

Clark’s Jewelry Store will have 25% off storewide all day.

Hartwell House will feature sales of 25-50% off select items from 5-7 p.m.

Weaving Stitches will have 25% off storewide from 5-7 p.m.

Chapman Shoes will feature up to 50% off summer shoes.
