Syracuse Vehicle Recovered, Suspect in Custody
SYRACUSE, Ohio – A vehicle reported stolen on January 20, 2018 has been recovered and a suspect is in custody.
According to Syracuse Police Chief Mony Wood, the vehicle was found in Athens County. The 2011 Black Ford Explorer SUV had been reportedly stolen in the early morning of Jan. 20 and then discovered the morning of January 21, 2018.
Law enforcement had also been looking for Jacob Tyler Hayman in connection with the missing vehicle. Hayman was taken into custody and is currently being held in the Southeastern Ohio Regional Jail.
