MEIGS COUNTY, Ohio – As the threat of major flooding dwindles the Meigs County Emergency Management Agency is continuing to monitor the Ohio River Levels in Meigs County.

The Ohio River is not predicted to crest until Feb. 27, 2018 at Bellville Locks and Dam, Racine Locks and Dam and the Village of Pomeroy. The Bellville Locks and Dam is predicted to crest in the morning hours at 35.5 feet with Racine and Pomeroy to follow at 40.2 feet and 43.5 feet.

The Meigs County EMA will continue to conduct damage assessments for anyone who has experience home or business damage associated with the flooding last week or who experiences any damage with the current flooding.
