Third Annual Spaghetti Dinner Fundraiser Set for Pomeroy FD

POMEROY, Ohio – There will be a fundraiser for the Pomeroy Fire Department at the Eagles Club on April 14, 2018.
Serving will be 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. with the dinner menu of spaghetti, salad, bread, and pop/water for a $7 donation. Delivery is available for locations where five or more dinners are ordered from. The dinner is open to the community.
This the third year for the fundraiser. The Pomeroy Firemen’s Association Ladies Auxiliary will also have a bake sale table with various goodies.
Volunteer firefighters work throughout the year to fundraise in addition to any levy revenue they may receive to cover ever increasing costs, especially the additional required equipment and upgrades. To outfit one firefighter in gear it costs between $10,000 to $12,000.
