POMEROY, Ohio – A vehicle theft is being investigated in Pomeroy.

According to Pomeroy Police Department Chief Mark E. Proffitt, Officer Josiah Leggett along with the Meigs County Sheriff’s Office are investigating the theft occurring on June 8, 2018 at 3:45 p.m. from Court Street in Pomeroy. The keys were reportedly left in the vehicle. Law enforcement is looking for a light blue 2016 Nissan Versa with license plates GXC 9738. The vehicle is believed to be heading toward the Gallia County area.
