Gertrude Elaine Lehew, 98

Gertrude Elaine Lehew, 98, of Portland, Ohio, passed away on Dec. 22, 2018, at Arbors of Pomeroy.

She was born July 30, 1920, in Roane County, WV, daughter of the late Guy Edward Mullinex and Bessie sayre Mullinex. She was a homemaker and Methodist by faith. She was a 1938 graduate of Ravenswood High school. She liked to read and do work puzzles, make quilts, and she enjoyed flowers and trains.

Gertrude is survived by her son, Larry Lehew (Kathy) of Pomeroy, OH; daughter, Elaine Lehew of Portland, OH; granddaughter, Missy DeCrans (Matt) of Charlotte, NC; 3 great grandchildren, Simm, Helen and Siena of Charlotte, NC; several nieces and nephews; special friends, Janet, Susie and Chuck.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
