Warming station to open

POMEROY, Ohio – A warming station is being opened for those without adequate heat as the temperatures are predicted to drop to record lows through Thursday.

First Southern Baptist Church of Pomeroy will be opening their doors on January 29, 2019 beginning at 5 p.m. for those that need a warm place to stay. Food will be available and volunteers are busy preparing cots for people to come to the church.

The warming station is expected to be open through January 31 at noon, depending on the weather conditions.

The church is located at 41872 Pomeroy Pike, Pomeroy, Ohio.
